Training Center

SI-TECH’s NDT Training Center has been meeting the needs of NDT Training for 20 years. We offer a full range of NDT Training services including both classroom training, and acting as your companies designated ASNT / ACCP Level III.

SI-TECH provides scheduled Level I and Level II training classes in the five basic NDT methods (VT), (MT), (PT), (UT) and (RT). A certified Instructor teaches each class. Classes are structured according to the guidelines of SNT-TC1A.

Each course can be tailored to your needs and requirements, and can be presented in our classrooms or at your facility location. Every course consists of both classroom lectures and hands on training. Course materials include visual aids, student handouts, test standards, and one to one interactions with a qualified instructor.

Please note that some classes have pre-requisite work that must be completed. Most of our courses are concluded with a "Final" which is in fact, a complete Level II Test consisting of a General Test, a Specific Test, a Vision Test and a Practical Test. Students leave class with an ASNT file which contains: Certificate of Successful Completion of the Course, plus a Visual Acuity & Color Perception Certificate, General, Specific and Practical Grade Sheets, and a Composite Grade Sheet.

NAVSEA / Navy Requirements

Additional requirements for your welders and inspectors are necessary to perform work for the U.S. Navy. Your personnel must be trained and certified to visually inspect the welds they perform.

We can audit your welding program, which is required by NAVSEA to be performed every two years. SI-TECH can write, review, and approve your NDT and welding procedures, and certify your brazing personnel.
